OpenSkiMaps are based on OpenStreetMap data available under a CC-BY-SA/ODBl license. Skimap.org takes this data and renders it to be skier/boarder friendly! Currently, OpenSkiMaps are available in Google Earth (KML) and OSM XML formats, more formats coming soon. If your favourite ski area isn't available or lacks detail, you can fix it by going to OpenStreetMap to add runs/lifts. An easier way of doing this will be available soon as well - again, made by skiers for skiers!
